Jeff Ames, CEO

Founder

Jeff grew up in Las Vegas and entered the field of traffic control right out of high school. Although too young to drive, there was plenty of work in the yard and warehouse, where Jeff did everything from cleaning cones to filling sandbags. The company was impressed with his work. They began training him as a Traffic Control Technician’s Assistant and eventually a Traffic Control Technician. With one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings at the company, Jeff was promoted through several supervisory positions before becoming the branch operations manager of a nationwide corporation. "Customer service is, has been, and will always be my top priority,” says Jeff. “I’m available around the clock because this business is all about getting the job done right, any time. It’s a belief I instill in all our employees and it really does show.” Jeff has not only trained hundreds of employees at Masters of Barricades, but also at every national company he has worked for as well. This includes MOB traffic field crew, operations, and office personnel. He says quality, productivity, safety, and integrity are critical to proper traffic and crowd control because this service provides the foundation for a safe, productive job site or special event. “This is an adventure that continues to expand in directions that we’re all very excited about,” Jeff said. “While our services and service area for traffic control barricades and special event services continue to expand, we are carrying forward the world-class principles that made us famous for Las Vegas barricades everywhere we go.”

Jeff Pritchett, CMO

Founder

Jeff originally began his career in traffic control management in Las Vegas as a Traffic Control Technician who discovered he had a passion to learn every facet of the business. It wasn’t long before he got his chance. Jeff has worked as a Supervisor, Operations Manager, Sales Manager, and Branch Manager of several national traffic control companies. “The interesting thing about Las Vegas traffic control barricades is that it demands a higher level of commitment and customer service,” said Jeff. “So many national companies have come here only to find they cannot compete long term. It’s one of the reasons we decided to start MOB. It made more sense to bring world-class traffic control, pedestrian management, and special event barricades to the rest of the world rather than help another national company offer something less than perfect.” As a highly principled industry leader, Jeff has always considered customer service to be the cornerstone of any great traffic control company. He believes it is essential inside and out — something that can be delivered to employees and customers alike. He even left one company when it started requiring employees to sign non-compete contracts. His vision for better traffic control is not limited to MOB traffic. He was responsible for reinstating the ATSSA Nevada Chapter and currently serves on its board of directors. He also maintains all his ATSSA and OSHA certifications because he says you never know when you have to personally deliver what the Nevada road control customers need in a timely, professional manner. In addition to his professional involvement, Jeff is a community leader who is known for his support of several local and national charities. One of his favorites is AnySoldier.com, which provides supplies and moral support to servicemen and women on active duty in other countries.

Jason Woods, COO

Founder

Jason began his career in the traffic management industry as a shop helper and then steadily worked his way up into management. He has worked for several national companies, including as a Branch Manager for a multimillion-dollar location with direct responsibility overseeing more than 50 employees. Like many MOB traffic management team leaders, Jason also worked as a Sales Manager, an experience that fuels his desire to serve the customer by providing in-depth industry knowledge. He says it is not enough to give the customers what they ask for in terms of traffic control or special events, but rather what they need — balancing job site or event location control and safety with the right estimate. “We are the best at what we do because we have the experience and know-how to tackle any request that comes through our door,” Jason said. “We give our customers the solutions and service they are looking for and a few things they might not have been aware of that can maximize their efforts. Going above and beyond is how you build trust and give people the peace of mind they deserve.” Jason’s passion for traffic control includes experience in value engineering, construction, and construction management. He is an expert in traffic control safety and estimations, providing maximum results with minimal means.

Scott Palmer, Director of Operations

Founder

Scott started working in the traffic control, sign, and barricade rental business shortly before his 18th birthday. Since he started at such a young age, he was initially confined to the warehouse, making sure the heater was on in the morning before the crew arrived and all the equipment was ready to go. As soon as he was old enough, he jumped onboard the flatbeds to help the highway crews as a Flagger and then a Traffic Control Technician. Over the years, he worked as a Traffic Control Technician, Drafter, Dispatcher, Mechanic, Supervisor, Superintendent, and Operations Director. “I want our customers to think of MOB as the first company they need, and the last company they think or worry about,” says Scott. “Having worked on major infrastructure and construction sites, I know how important rock-solid traffic control and barricades can be for the overall safety, productivity, and work quality of every other team. We take our work as seriously as our fun.” Scott brings significant field experience in construction, including work on a vital national gas pipeline and Nevada utility. His experience includes everything from emergency digs and pipe covering to field operations and factory millwork. He has a long standing reputation for integrity, even resigning from a position to save a subordinate from unjustly losing his job.
